This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer, MS Power Platform based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to build and support enterprise-grade applications, automations, and AI-enabled solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable digital solutions that improve productivity and efficiency. The position spans the full application lifecycle, from solution design and development through testing, deployment, documentation, and production support. You’ll integrate Microsoft 365 services, APIs, identity platforms, and third-party tools while maintaining strong governance, security, and compliance standards. The role is well suited to an engineer who combines hands-on technical expertise with a proactive, quality-focused mindset. You’ll also have exposure to emerging technologies such as Copilot Studio and agentic AI. Accountabilities
Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise applications and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
Build solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, custom connectors, and other Power Platform capabilities.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
Integrate Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, webhooks, standard connectors, and custom connectors.
Develop integrations with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, and third-party platforms.
Own the end-to-end application lifecycle, including architecture, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, production support, and continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot application, automation, and integration issues and implement reliable long-term solutions.
Apply appropriate governance, security, compliance, and access-control standards across Power Platform environments.
Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, security roles, connector governance, and least-privilege access principles.
Develop scripts and supporting automation using PowerShell and other relevant programming technologies.
Contribute to the development of AI-driven solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, agentic AI, or related technologies where appropriate.
Maintain high standards for code quality, application reliability, documentation, and delivery timelines.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve digital workflows, operational efficiency, and the scalability of enterprise applications.
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
Strong practical experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and custom connectors.
Proven experience integrating Microsoft 365 services and enterprise applications using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, webhooks, and standard or custom connectors.
Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, or other Microsoft 365 services and their integration with Power Platform.
Working knowledge of Power Platform governance, including Data Loss Prevention policies, security roles, connector governance, and least-privilege access.
Strong proficiency in PowerShell.
Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, .NET, Python, or JavaScript.
Understanding of enterprise application architecture, automation, API integration, security, and operational support practices.
Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio and agentic AI concepts is an advantage.
Relevant Microsoft Power Platform certifications are considered a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Self-driven and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, business needs, and enterprise development practices.
