Role Description The Freelance Video Editor role at Bose Works is a part-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Video Editor will assemble and edit raw footage, apply transitions, synchronize audio, and create polished video outputs for social media content and short films. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with directors and producers, organizing media assets, implementing color grading, and refining visual narratives to align with project goals and brand guidelines. The role also involves integrating motion graphics, basic titles, and visual elements to enhance storytelling, while meeting deadlines and adapting edits based on feedback. The Video Editor will contribute creative ideas and stay current with editing trends and tools relevant to digital-first content.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in video production and video editing for short films, social media content, and digital storytelling.
Candidates should possess skills in video color grading to ensure consistent visual tone and high-quality image output.
Candidates should possess skills in motion graphics and graphics creation to design titles, overlays, and simple visual elements.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to interpret creative briefs and feedback constructively.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple projects, and meet production timelines in a collaborative environment.
Prior experience in digital media, content creation, or film projects is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work is highly beneficial.
