Role Description The Financial Analyst Intern (full-time, remote) will support the finance team in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with planning and forecasting activities. Daily tasks include reviewing financial statements, supporting financial modeling, and contributing to budgeting and variance analysis. The intern will help compile data for financial reporting, assist with research on market trends and industry benchmarks, and contribute to presentations for internal and client-facing use. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information, maintaining documentation, and learning to use relevant financial and analytical tools under the guidance of senior team members.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, including understanding of core financial concepts and business fundamentals.
Ability to perform Financial Planning and basic forecasting to support budgeting and decision-making.
Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide insights for financial decision support.
Knowledge of Financial Statements and their components (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
Exposure to Financial Reporting processes, including preparing and reviewing structured financial summaries.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other spreadsheet tools; familiarity with financial or analytics software is an advantage.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.
