Role Description The Store Manager – Furniture is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This position manages the sales floor, supervises and motivates the store team, and monitors inventory, merchandising, and display standards to align with Royaloak’s brand guidelines. The Store Manager tracks sales performance, implements promotional activities, and ensures adherence to company policies and processes. The role also involves handling customer inquiries and escalations, maintaining store safety and cleanliness, and enforcing retail loss prevention measures. The Store Manager collaborates with regional leadership to achieve sales targets, improve store efficiency, and support training and development of team members.
Qualifications
Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on delivering a premium in-store experience.
Proficiency in Store Management, including supervising staff, overseeing daily operations, and managing inventory and visual merchandising.
Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, coaching team members, and coordinating with management.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to reduce shrinkage and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
Prior experience in furniture retail or lifestyle/home décor retail is preferred, with a proven track record in meeting sales targets.
Ability to lead and motivate teams, handle escalations, and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.
Basic proficiency in POS systems and MS Office for reporting and operational tasks.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail management, business, or a related field is beneficial.
