Role Description
The Software Engineer Intern – React Native role is a full-time remote position focused on building and improving mobile applications using React Native. Day-to-day tasks include implementing user interfaces, integrating APIs, fixing bugs, and writing clean, maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers. The intern will participate in code reviews, collaborate with designers and back-end developers, and contribute to planning and estimation for new features. The role also involves writing basic technical documentation, testing components, and learning best practices in software development, version control, and deployment workflows. This position offers hands-on experience in modern mobile development within a supportive, mentoring environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with React Native or similar frameworks.
Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts, RESTful APIs, and integrating front-end applications with server-side services.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and the ability to apply them in designing and implementing components.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to learn quickly, solve problems independently, and communicate clearly in a remote team setting.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Interest in mobile app development, cloud technologies, and modern software tools; prior project or internship experience is an advantage.
