Role Description
The Application Engineer Intern – React Native (full-time, remote) will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and reusable code, implementing UI components, integrating APIs, and assisting with performance optimization and debugging. The intern will collaborate with senior engineers to review requirements, participate in code reviews, and support testing activities to ensure quality and reliability. The role also involves documenting features, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with cross-functional team members to deliver product enhancements on schedule.
Qualifications
Software Development: Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, mobile app architecture, and basic version control (e.g., Git).
Testing: Ability to write and execute test cases, perform debugging, and support quality assurance for mobile applications.
Technical Support: Capacity to investigate and resolve application issues, assist users or internal teams, and document solutions clearly.
Engineering Fundamentals: Familiarity with core engineering concepts; exposure to Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus for multidisciplinary projects.
Education and Additional Skills: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; strong problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
