Role Description
As a Software Engineer Intern – React Native, you will work full time in a remote capacity, collaborating with engineers and designers to build and refine mobile applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features in React Native, writing clean and maintainable code, and integrating front-end components with back-end services and APIs. You will participate in code reviews, debug and resolve issues, and contribute to performance and usability improvements. The role also involves learning and applying best practices in software development, documenting your work, and actively communicating with the team through online collaboration tools.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
Experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python).
Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side logic.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP principles to application design.
Familiarity with React Native or similar mobile frameworks (e.g., React, Flutter) and an interest in cross-platform mobile development.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
