Online Web Development Tutor - AUS Shift Timing

Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an Online Web Development Tutor working in AUS shift timings from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm (5 hours). The tutor will conduct live online classes for school-age learners, teaching core web development concepts such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering interactive sessions, guiding students through coding exercises, and providing constructive feedback on their work. The tutor will monitor learner progress, clarify doubts, adapt teaching methods to different skill levels, and maintain accurate records of student performance. Collaboration with the academic team to improve content, share class insights, and ensure a positive learning experience is also expected.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to explain technical concepts clearly and engage young learners online.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Research abilities to solve coding problems and stay updated on web development practices.
Candidates should possess Training experience or teaching skills, preferably in web development or related STEM subjects.
Proficiency in basic front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with online teaching tools and virtual classroom platforms.
Ability to work effectively during AUS shift timings, manage part-time remote schedules, and maintain a reliable internet connection.
Prior experience teaching or mentoring children or teenagers is highly beneficial; a degree or coursework in Computer Science, IT, or related fields is an advantage.
