The Role
We are looking for a Facilities Manager who takes full ownership of creating and running spaces efficiently across multiple locations.
This is a high-impact Facilities Management and Operations role where you'll ensure teams can focus on their core work while you make the workplace environment run seamlessly.
You'll manage both corporate facilities and manufacturing/workshop spaces, coordinating with engineering teams to support production and testing needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate & Multi-location Facilities
Run day-to-day operations for office and facility spaces with a zero-downtime mindset.
Standardize processes across all offices and labs.
Travel occasionally to ensure consistent experience and quick problem-solving across other sites.
Manufacturing & Workshop Operations
Oversee setup, maintenance, and compliance of manufacturing/workshop spaces.
Ensure availability and readiness of utilities, equipment, and storage areas.
Coordinate with engineering teams to support production/testing needs.
Implement best practices for workplace safety in plant environments.
Facility Operations & Maintenance
Drive preventive and on-demand maintenance across infrastructure, utilities, and equipment.
Supervise third-party managed housekeeping, security, and other support staff.
Keep housekeeping, pantry, and support services consistent, reliable, and startup-lean.
Ensure calibration, AMC renewals, and compliance for facility equipment.
Vendor & Partner Management
Build strong relationships with vendors and contractors related to facility management and keep them accountable.
Negotiate smartly to balance cost, speed, and quality.
Manage renewals, service agreements, and vendor SLAs without delays.
Oversee third-party vendors and contractors supporting workshop/plant operations.
Safety & Compliance
Own workplace safety, security, and compliance across corporate and plant sites.
Conduct safety checks, audits, and emergency drills.
Ensure legal compliance for manufacturing, fire safety, and environmental norms.
Admin & People Experience
Enable efficient workspace planning and employee services.
Partner with HR and IT for smooth onboarding, seating, and asset management.
Be the go-to person for keeping the workplace productive and welcoming.
Scope & Reporting
Manage facility budgets smartly to keep costs lean without cutting corners.
Report on facility health, risks, and improvements with a startup lens.
Track and optimize spend across multiple locations and facility types.
Required Qualifications
Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
6–10 years of experience managing corporate and/or manufacturing facilities, with demonstrated success in multi-location operations.
Proven track record in handling both office environments and industrial/workshop facilities.
Strong operational skills with the ability to adapt to startup pace and changing priorities.
Ability to manage facility operations by wearing multiple hats and effectively handling rapidly shifting priorities.
Knowledge of safety, compliance, and statutory requirements for offices and workshops, including fire safety, environmental norms, and manufacturing regulations.
Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and maintaining service level agreements.
Experience managing facilities and admin budgets while maintaining quality standards.
Problem-solver who thrives on ownership and has a "just get it done" mentality.
Good with numbers for budgeting and great with people for collaboration.
Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
