About the Role
We are looking for a Business Program Manager who can identify commercially attractive products, find and build relationships with capable manufacturers, and take those products from idea → manufacturer → customer → export market.
This is a highly execution-focused role working directly with the founders.
You will operate at the intersection of product strategy, market research, manufacturing, partnerships, business development, and international trade.
What You Will Own
Product Identification
Identify products with strong demand, supply gaps, margins, and export potential
Research global markets, industries, competitors, pricing, and customer requirements
Identify products linked to critical minerals, advanced materials, energy, manufacturing, defence, aerospace, electronics, and other strategic industries
Evaluate product economics, specifications, certifications, volumes, and sourcing feasibility
Build a pipeline of products that BlackMass Energies can manufacture, source, distribute, or export
Manufacturer Partnerships
Identify and map manufacturers across India and international markets
Evaluate manufacturing capabilities, capacity, quality, certifications, pricing, and scalability
Build relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
Negotiate commercial terms and partnership structures
Develop contract manufacturing / OEM / private-label opportunities
Coordinate samples, technical specifications, testing, quality, production, and delivery
Build a reliable manufacturer network for scalable products
Exports & International Business
Identify international customers and markets for selected products
Research import requirements, HS codes, certifications, duties, regulations, and market conditions
Build export opportunities across Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America, and other markets
Identify distributors, buyers, OEMs, manufacturers, and strategic customers
Support international outreach, quotations, negotiations, and deal closure
Coordinate with logistics, documentation, compliance, and shipping partners
Build repeat export business rather than one-time transactions
Program Management
Own projects end-to-end:
Research → Product Selection → Manufacturer → Sample → Validation → Customer → Commercial Deal → Export → Scale
You will coordinate across internal teams, manufacturers, customers, logistics partners, and other stakeholders to ensure execution.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who thinks commercially and executes aggressively.
You should have:
1 to 5yrs of Experience
Strong business and market research skills
Understanding of manufacturing and supply chains
Interest in international trade and exports
Strong communication and negotiation ability
Ability to evaluate products and business opportunities
Strong execution and follow-up skills
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments
Strong ownership and attention to detail
Preferred Background
Experience or exposure in:
Business development
Product management
Manufacturing
Export / import
International trade
Procurement / sourcing
B2B sales
Supply chain
Industrial products
Metals / minerals / chemicals
Battery / energy / deep-tech
Engineering, commerce, economics, business, supply chain, or related backgrounds are welcome.
Exceptional freshers may also apply.
