About the Role:
Are you passionate about shaping public policy and building meaningful government partnerships in India’s evolving healthcare sector?
We are looking for a strategic, driven, and relationship-oriented Public Policy professional who can lead government engagement, navigate regulatory frameworks, and translate policy developments into actionable business and impact outcomes.
The role will work closely with internal leadership, government officials, regulatory bodies, policymakers, and institutional stakeholders across the healthcare and education ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
Government & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with Central and State Government officials, regulators, policymakers, and institutional stakeholders.
Drive government liaisoning and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Represent the organisation in relevant government meetings, consultations, forums, and industry platforms.
Identify opportunities for strategic government and institutional partnerships.
Public Policy & Regulatory Affairs
Develop and execute public policy strategies aligned with business and impact objectives.
Track and analyse developments across healthcare, education, skilling, and allied health.
Interpret policies and regulations and translate them into actionable recommendations for internal teams.
Identify regulatory opportunities, risks, and potential areas of policy intervention.
Policy Research & Thought Leadership
Develop policy briefs, position papers, reports, presentations, and consultation responses.
Conduct research on emerging policy and regulatory issues.
Contribute to policy discussions through roundtables, conferences, forums, and industry platforms.
Build the organisation’s voice and thought leadership within the healthcare and education policy ecosystem.
Internal Advisory & Collaboration
Act as a policy and regulatory advisor to leadership and business teams.
Work cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, Academic, Business, and Leadership teams.
Convert complex policy developments into clear, practical, and actionable business insights.
Manage multiple policy and government engagement initiatives independently.
Qualifications & Experience
2+ years of experience in Public Policy, Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Government Relations, Government Liaisoning, or related roles.
Strong understanding of India’s healthcare and education ecosystem.
Experience in government engagement, policy advocacy, stakeholder management, or institutional partnerships.
Good understanding of Central and State Government structures, processes, and public-sector engagement.
Experience working in healthcare, education, skilling, social impact, or related sectors will be preferred.
Strong relationship-building, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Public Administration, Management, Public Health, or a related field.
Strong command of English and Hindi, both written and spoken.
