Role Description The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile practices for teams supporting Esse India’s technology and process initiatives, ensuring smooth delivery of tools and systems that enhance immigration and visa consulting services. In this full-time, on-site role based in Madurai, the Scrum Master will lead daily stand-ups, plan and manage sprints, coordinate backlog refinement, and remove impediments to team progress. The role includes collaborating with stakeholders to clarify requirements, refine user stories, and promote continuous improvement in workflows and communication. The Scrum Master will coach team members on Agile principles, track and report sprint metrics, and help align development activities with business priorities.
Qualifications
Strong Agile facilitation skills, including Sprint Planning and managing Scrum ceremonies.
Ability to analyze requirements and processes, with solid Analytical Skills for problem-solving and decision-making.
Clear and professional Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Experience working with User Stories, backlog management, and translating business needs into actionable tasks.
Understanding of Software Development processes and lifecycle; experience working with development teams is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role; Scrum or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Madurai, manage multiple priorities, and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
