Procurement Executive

Position: Procurement Executive

Location: HSR, Bangalore
Working Days: 6 Days (Monday to Saturday)
Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive Procurement Executive from the commercial office space / coworking / Design Service industry who can support end-to-end procurement for Civil, Interior & MEP materials and services. The candidate should have good vendor coordination skills, basic negotiation ability, and the capability to work closely with the design, project, and site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Support & Execution
Assist in managing the procurement cycle for Civil, Interior & MEP materials and subcontracting work.
Prepare BOQs, RFQs, and comparative statements under guidance.
Follow up on material availability at site as per project schedules.
2. Vendor Coordination
Identify and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and samples.
Assist in negotiating prices, delivery schedules, and quality terms.
Maintain and update the vendor database.
3. Cost Tracking & Budget Support
Track procurement costs against approved budgets.
Monitor price trends and flag cost-saving opportunities to the reporting manager.
Coordinate with the finance team for invoice validation and payment follow-ups.
4. Civil, Interior & MEP Material Knowledge
Working knowledge of materials like:
Civil: cement, sand, aggregates, blocks, tiles, waterproofing, etc.
Interior: plywood, laminates, hardware, partitions, ceilings, paint, flooring, furniture.
MEP: cables, lighting, switches, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, access control, CCTV.
Verify materials against technical specifications and quality standards.
5. Coordination
Coordinate day-to-day with the procurement team and reporting manager on task allocation.
Support execution of assigned procurement tasks within timelines.
6. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain procurement documentation including POs, GRNs, contracts, and inventory records.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and audit requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
2–4 years of experience in procurement within the commercial office space / Design Services industry.
Working exposure to Civil, Interior & MEP procurement.
Good coordination and communication skills with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Basic negotiation skills.
Working knowledge of BOQ, budgeting, contracts, and procurement documentation.
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP/procurement software preferred.
