Role Description The AP Physics Teacher role at WinQuest Online is a part-time, remote position focused on delivering rigorous, college-level physics instruction to high school students. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching live or asynchronous AP Physics lessons, developing and refining lesson plans and materials aligned with College Board standards, and assessing student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams. The teacher will provide timely feedback, hold virtual office hours or help sessions, and support students in preparing for the AP Physics exam. Additional duties may involve collaborating with other instructors, maintaining clear communication with students and families, and using online platforms and tools to enhance learning.
Qualifications
Strong subject-matter expertise in Physics and solid understanding of Mathematics relevant to AP Physics.
Experience in Physics Education and formal Teaching, ideally at the high school or AP level.
Proficiency in Lesson Planning, curriculum alignment, and structuring content for online delivery.
Ability to use digital tools and learning management systems for remote instruction and assessment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a closely related field; advanced degree or teaching certification is a plus.
Prior experience preparing students for standardized or AP examinations is beneficial.
