Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a High School Physics Teacher at WinQuest Online. The teacher will design and deliver engaging physics lessons aligned with curriculum standards, using online platforms and digital tools. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching live or asynchronous classes, assigning and grading assessments, and providing constructive feedback to students. The teacher will monitor student progress, offer academic support during virtual office hours, and maintain clear communication with learners and guardians as needed. Collaboration with colleagues to refine course content and participate in occasional training or team meetings is also expected.
Qualifications
Strong subject-matter expertise in Physics and a solid understanding of high school science curricula.
Demonstrated Teaching and Education experience, ideally in online or blended learning environments.
Ability to create effective Lesson Planning, including structured units, assessments, and differentiated activities.
Clear, professional Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues in a virtual setting.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Science Education, or a closely related field.
Relevant teaching certification or licensure (where applicable) preferred.
Comfort with learning management systems, video conferencing tools, and digital instructional resources.
Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and support for learners with diverse backgrounds and needs.
