Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a French Teacher at WinQuest Online. The French Teacher will design and deliver online French lessons to students at various proficiency levels, using interactive teaching methods and digital tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and instructional materials, teaching live or asynchronous classes, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will also communicate regularly with students and families, maintain accurate records of performance, and collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and student engagement.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in French, with excellent command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, and the ability to teach both written and spoken language.
Experience in teaching or tutoring French, preferably in an online or blended learning environment.
Ability to design clear, structured lesson plans and use engaging teaching strategies for different ages and proficiency levels.
Comfort with educational technology, learning management systems, and online communication tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and support to diverse learners.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; advanced degree or teaching certification is a plus.
Experience working with multicultural and multilingual student populations and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered instruction.
