Role Description This part-time remote SAT Maths Teacher role involves delivering live, online math lessons focused on SAT preparation to middle and high school students. The teacher will plan and implement structured lessons, explain key SAT math concepts, and provide guided practice using official-style questions. Daily tasks include assessing student performance, offering individualized feedback, and adjusting instruction based on learner needs and test readiness. The role also includes creating or refining curriculum materials, tracking student progress, and communicating with students and families about goals and outcomes. The teacher is expected to maintain a professional online classroom environment and use digital tools effectively to support learning.
Qualifications
Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with a solid understanding of SAT math topics.
Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including designing structured SAT prep lessons and practice materials.
Background as a Qualified Teacher or tutor, with demonstrated skill in instructing and supporting diverse learners in an online setting.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
Experience with online teaching platforms and digital collaboration tools, and comfort with remote instruction.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; prior SAT or standardized test prep teaching experience is preferred.
Strong organizational skills, reliability in managing part-time teaching schedules, and commitment to student success.
