Role Description The Business Development Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kanpur. The intern will support lead generation efforts by identifying potential clients, researching target markets, and maintaining databases of prospects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with market research, preparing presentations and proposals, and coordinating initial outreach via calls, emails, and social media. The intern will collaborate with sales and marketing teams to follow up on inquiries, support client meetings, and help document customer requirements and feedback. The role also involves contributing to customer service activities, tracking performance metrics, and providing administrative support to business development initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends, assess business opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.
Effective communication abilities, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and professional interpersonal interaction.
Lead generation skills, including identifying potential clients, qualifying leads, and supporting outreach campaigns.

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
Basic understanding of sales and marketing concepts, preferably in B2B or service-oriented industries.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort with online research and CRM or lead-tracking tools.
Ability to work on-site in Kanpur, collaborate in a team environment, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Interest in exhibitions, retail environments, digital signage, and experiential marketing solutions is an advantage.
