SENIOR IAM ENGINEER

Role Description The IAM Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for administering and monitoring identity and access management (IAM) systems, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews. The IAM Analyst will investigate access-related incidents, ensure adherence to security policies, and support audits and compliance activities. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with IT and security teams to implement IAM controls, maintaining documentation of IAM processes, and assisting in continuous improvement of access governance workflows. The role may also involve participating in IAM-related projects such as system integrations, role-based access design, and process automation.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, such as authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and least privilege.
Experience working with IAM tools or platforms (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar) and basic knowledge of directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP).
Knowledge of IT security principles, governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, and familiarity with audit and regulatory requirements related to access management.
Ability to analyze access requests, perform access reviews, investigate access issues, and document IAM processes and procedures clearly.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities on-site.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or vendor IAM certifications) are a plus.
Prior experience in an IAM, security operations, or IT infrastructure role in a corporate environment is preferred.
