Role Description
We’re looking for a Freelance PR Consultant who can make Amendss part of conversations that matter.
This is a hands-on role focused on building media visibility, brand credibility and awareness for Amendss across Delhi NCR and India. You’ll identify compelling stories around relationships, mental wellbeing, modern dating, communication and Gen Z relationship culture, and turn them into media opportunities.
You’ll work directly with the founding team to build relationships with journalists, editors, creators, podcasts and relevant communities, while developing PR campaigns, press pitches, founder stories and offline opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute PR strategies for Amendss across digital and traditional media.
* Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, creators and relevant publications.
* Identify newsworthy stories and trends around relationships, mental wellbeing and modern relationship culture.
* Create press releases, media pitches, founder stories and PR campaigns.
* Secure interviews, features, expert commentary, podcast appearances and other relevant opportunities.
* Identify and coordinate relevant events, communities, college initiatives and brand collaborations.
* Support founder and brand positioning across media.
* Track media coverage and measure PR performance.
* Work closely with the founders and marketing team to ensure consistent brand communication.
Qualifications
* 1–4 years of experience in PR, communications, media relations or a PR agency.
* Existing relationships with journalists, editors and digital publications will be a strong advantage.
* Excellent writing, communication and storytelling skills.
* Strong understanding of Indian media and digital culture.
* Interest in relationships, psychology, mental wellbeing, Gen Z culture or consumer technology.
* Ability to independently identify opportunities and turn ideas into actual media coverage.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with the founding team.
* Delhi NCR-based preferred.
