Role Description
We are looking for an Analyst Backend Engineer SQL for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in backend engineering, SQL development, database development, APIs, data processing, application development, software engineering, system integration, and enterprise applications.
The Analyst Backend Engineer SQL will work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to develop backend services, work with databases, optimize queries, support APIs and integrations, automate data-driven workflows, and build reliable software solutions.
The role may involve working with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Python, Java, backend frameworks, REST APIs, stored procedures, database design, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and data integration tools depending on project and business requirements.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in backend engineering, backend development, SQL development, database development, software engineering, application development, data engineering, API development, or related technology roles can apply.
Candidates currently working as Backend Engineer, Backend Developer, SQL Developer, Database Developer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Data Engineer, Application Developer, API Developer, Associate Software Engineer, or Analyst are encouraged to apply.
Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, analytics, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
Basic to good knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, or similar relational databases will be beneficial.
Understanding of SELECT queries, joins, subqueries, aggregations, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes, and transactions.
Familiarity with database design, normalization, relationships, constraints, primary keys, foreign keys, and data integrity concepts.
Basic understanding of query optimization, indexing, execution plans, database performance, and troubleshooting will be beneficial.
Exposure to Python, Java, C#, Node.js, or another backend programming language will be beneficial.
Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, .NET, Express.js, or similar technologies will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, web services, authentication, authorization, and system integration.
Exposure to ORM technologies such as Hibernate, JPA, SQLAlchemy, Entity Framework, Sequelize, or similar tools will be beneficial.
Familiarity with database connectivity, data access layers, API-to-database integration, and backend application architecture will be beneficial.
Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or similar technologies will be considered an additional advantage.
Exposure to ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data integration, batch processing, or workflow automation will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, testing, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
Exposure to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, cloud databases, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, database servers, logging, and production-support concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to data warehouses, reporting systems, analytics platforms, business intelligence, or enterprise applications will be an advantage.
Familiarity with database security, user permissions, role-based access, backups, recovery, or secure data-handling practices will be beneficial.
Exposure to microservices, distributed systems, messaging systems, or event-driven applications will be considered an additional advantage.
Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, documentation, reporting, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical backend and database solutions.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
Internship, SQL project, database project, backend project, API project, GitHub project, data project, hackathon, freelance project, startup project, or academic software project will be considered but is not mandatory.
Candidates without previous full-time backend or database experience can also apply.
Strong willingness to learn new database technologies, backend frameworks, APIs, cloud platforms, and software-engineering practices.
