Senior Python Developer with German- Romania

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with German language skills to join our development team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Python, a solid understanding of software engineering principles, and the ability to communicate effectively with German-speaking stakeholders and teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable applications using Python.
Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern software engineering best practices.
Design and implement RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices.
Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimise queries and application performance.
Integrate applications with external systems, APIs, and third-party services.
Write and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards.
Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Contribute to architectural and technical decisions and continuously improve development processes.
Work with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud-based environments.
Communicate with German-speaking stakeholders and participate in technical discussions and meetings in German.
Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Python.
Excellent understanding of Python programming, OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles.
Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and SOLID principles.
Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
Good knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and strong SQL skills.
Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
Experience with Docker and containerised applications.
Good understanding of Git and CI/CD practices.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong understanding of automated testing and software quality practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.
German language skills at B2/C1 level or higher.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
