WE’RE HIRING | FURNITURE DESIGNER / CAD DESIGNER
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry: Furniture Manufacturing
We are looking for a Furniture Designer / CAD Designer who can translate concepts into production-ready furniture designs and work closely with manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop furniture concepts and detailed production drawings
• Create accurate 2D & 3D CAD models and technical drawings
• Prepare drawings, BOMs and product specifications
• Coordinate with production, engineering and sourcing teams
• Ensure designs are practical, manufacturable and cost-effective
• Modify designs based on manufacturing requirements and client feedback
• Support the development of new furniture collections and products
Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of CAD and 3D modelling
• Experience in furniture design and manufacturing
• Good understanding of materials, hardware, joinery and construction
• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings
• Knowledge of IMOS CAD/CAM will be an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
