Hiring: Digital Printing Machine Operator
Location: Ahmedabad
Role: Full-time | On-site
We are looking for an experienced Digital Printing Machine Operator to join our team in Ahmedabad.
We are commissioning a new imported European wide-format industrial inkjet printing line with roll-to-roll operation, water-based inks and an inline dryer. The machine will be installed in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment.
The selected candidate will receive direct training from the European machine manufacturer and technology partner during installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate the digital printing line, including job setup and print production
• Monitor print quality, colour consistency and machine performance
• Manage roll loading/unloading, unwind/rewind and dryer settings
• Handle rolls up to 1.35 m wide and 500 kg
• Maintain production and machine logs
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Monitor machine alarms and error messages
• Coordinate service requirements with the machine manufacturer
• Maintain required temperature and humidity conditions in the print room
Candidate Profile
• Hands-on experience operating large-format or industrial printing equipment
• Knowledge of RIP software and colour management
• Experience with machine troubleshooting and routine maintenance
• Good computer, internet and email skills
• Ability to communicate in English with international technical teams
• Willingness to work in shifts
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:
• Decor paper printing
• Laminate / HPL printing
• Furniture surface printing
• Gravure printing
• Water-based inkjet printing
• Colour matching and proofing
