Furniture Designer | Raipur

We are looking for an experienced Furniture Designer to join a large-scale furniture manufacturing and retail project in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The company is setting up a new 2,00,000 sq. ft. furniture manufacturing facility, supported by a 1,50,000 sq. ft. showroom. This is an opportunity to be part of a large and ambitious furniture business from its early stage.
Role: Furniture Designer
Key Responsibilities
Develop furniture concepts and designs across multiple categories.
Create detailed 2D/3D drawings and production-ready designs.
Work closely with production, engineering and manufacturing teams.
Develop designs keeping in mind functionality, aesthetics, manufacturability and cost.
Prepare detailed specifications, BOMs and technical drawings.
Support development of new collections and product ranges.
Coordinate prototypes, samples and design modifications.
Maintain consistency in design language across the product portfolio.
Study market trends, materials, finishes and international furniture design trends.
What We Are Looking For
Experience in furniture design and product development.
Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in relevant CAD/3D design software.
Ability to convert concepts into commercially viable, production-ready furniture.
Strong understanding of materials, hardware, finishes and joinery.
Experience working with furniture factories will be an advantage.
Candidates with experience across multiple furniture categories are preferred.
