Senior Cloud Consultant – Enterprise & Public Sector Transformation

About the Role:
OPSinnovate is seeking a Senior Cloud Consultant to lead enterprise cloud transformation initiatives for a long-term 6-year German Public Sector Framework launching in early 2027.
Location: 99% Remote (Requires 1 quarterly alignment on-site in Nuremberg, Germany)
Contract / Employment: Full-time
Language Requirement: Fluent/native German
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on change management concepts and execution within large-scale public sector cloud transformation projects.
Record, analyze, and optimize end-to-end business processes, adapting them to innovative cloud services.
Apply control and management frameworks for internal and external business processes (e.g., supplier relationships, operational procedures).
Support process-oriented organizational collaboration and contribute to control instruments (cost-performance accounting, controlling).
Mandatory Requirements & Technical Depth:
Overall Experience: Minimum 10+ years of total professional IT / Consulting experience.
Expert-Level Knowledge (5+ years / verifiable via multiple projects):
Cloud Migration & Multi-Cloud / Sovereign Cloud Strategies
Future Architecture Topics, Modularization, Microservices, and APIs
Modern Workplaces, Digital Employee Experience (DEX), and Collaboration Platforms
Infrastructure Failure Resilience (Data Redundancy & Data Center Power Supply)
Advanced-Level Knowledge (3–5 years):
Quantum Computing awareness/application
Sustainability Management in IT
Project Management Tools (MS Project) and MS Office Suite
Language: German (CEFR Level B2 or higher) — ability to structure and present complex technical processes clearly in German (oral & written).
References: Ability to provide at least 2 reference projects from the last 3 years with verifiable contact details upon request.
