Vice President of Data & Analytics

Role Description The Vice President of Data & Analytics is a part-time, remote role responsible for shaping the organization’s data strategy and ensuring that analytics inform key business decisions. This role oversees the development and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks, partnering with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and product to translate data insights into action. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding advanced analytics initiatives, reviewing statistical analyses, setting data governance standards, and mentoring data and analytics team members. The Vice President will also evaluate new tools and technologies, establish performance metrics, and regularly present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and experience applying Analytics to solve complex business problems.
Proficiency in Data Analytics methods and tools, including data visualization and reporting platforms.
Solid foundation in Statistics for designing experiments, interpreting data, and validating insights.
Understanding of Finance to connect data-driven insights with financial performance and forecasting.
Leadership experience in building and guiding high-performing data and analytics teams.
Experience defining data strategies, governance frameworks, and measurement plans.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
Background in a senior analytics or data leadership role, ideally within a complex, data-rich environment.
