Role Description This is a full-time Relationship Manager role based in Siliguri with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with customers, distributors, and partners to drive retention, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities. Daily activities include engaging with customers to understand their health insurance needs, providing product information and support, and proactively resolving queries and issues in a professional and timely manner. The role involves coordinating with internal teams for policy issuance, claims assistance, and service requests, as well as maintaining accurate records of interactions and outcomes. The Relationship Manager will also support business development activities, participate in local marketing or customer engagement initiatives, and ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and service quality benchmarks.
Qualifications
Strong customer relationship management, client servicing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiency in communication, including clear verbal and written skills, active listening, and presentation abilities.
Solid sales and negotiation capabilities, with experience in cross-selling, upselling, or meeting business targets.
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort with data, reporting, and using CRM or similar tools.
Knowledge of insurance or financial services, preferably health insurance; local market understanding in Siliguri is an advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, manage time independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; qualifications in business, finance, or insurance are preferred.
Prior experience in relationship management, banking, insurance, or financial services is beneficial.
