Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Executive to manage end-to-end inventory operations across warehouse and marketplace channels. The role focuses on maintaining stock accuracy, ensuring smooth fulfillment, and driving operational efficiency across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Inventory Planning & Control: Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain optimum stock levels of plants, raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goodsEnsure availability while minimizing excess stock, shortages, and inventory lossesPlan and monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstocking
2. Inventory Accuracy & System Management: Ensure accurate inventory records across ERP/WMS and marketplace platformsManage stock reconciliation between physical and system inventoryMaintain real-time stock updates and synchronization
3. Inward & GRN Management: Handle end-to-end inward operations including GRN, material receipt, and verificationResolve discrepancies and ensure timely inventory booking
4. Marketplace Inventory & Fulfilment: Monitor inventory across marketplaces to avoid stockouts or oversellingCoordinate with operations for timely order processing and dispatch as per SLA
5. Quality Control & Stock Health: Conduct regular quality checks and monitor stock ageingIdentify slow-moving, damaged, or excess inventory and take corrective actions
6. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and finance teamsSupport demand forecasting and replenishment planning
7. Process Improvement & Cost Optimisation: Identify gaps and improve inventory processesDrive efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize supply chain costs
Qualification & Experience
Graduate in B.Com, BBA, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, operations, supply chain or MIS.
Freshers with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills can also be considered.
Experience in a D2C/e-commerce environment will be an added advantage.
