Role Description The Information Technology Administrator is a full-time remote role responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure and systems. This role includes providing technical support to internal team members, managing user accounts, ensuring system security, and monitoring network performance. Daily tasks involve performing system updates, backups, and patch management, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and coordinating with vendors or service providers when needed. The IT Administrator will help implement best practices for data protection, access control, and uptime, while documenting IT processes and maintaining accurate records. Collaboration with other departments to support tools used for digital marketing, web development, and analytics is also a key part of the role.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Information Technology knowledge, including familiarity with common operating systems, cloud services, and office productivity tools.
Candidates should possess Technical Support skills, with experience assisting users, resolving IT incidents, and managing service requests.
Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, such as configuring routers and firewalls, monitoring network health, and managing VPNs.
Candidates should possess System Administration skills, including user and permission management, system updates, backups, and security configurations.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with cybersecurity best practices, familiarity with SaaS tools used in digital marketing, and basic scripting or automation skills.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are required.
An associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
