Operations ManagerEco Aspire Energy | Melbourne, Victoria
Eco Aspire Energy is a growing Australian-owned solar and battery company delivering residential and commercial renewable energy solutions across Melbourne and Victoria. Our services include solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers, system design, installation, grid connection, compliance and ongoing customer support.
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operational delivery of the business.
This is a hands-on management role for someone who can bring structure, accountability, systems and efficiency to a growing business. The successful candidate will coordinate our sales team, electricians, installers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, customers receive a high level of service, and operational and sales KPIs are consistently achieved.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Delivery
Take overall responsibility for the timely and efficient delivery of operational activities from sale through to project completion.
Coordinate the end-to-end customer journey, including sales handover, site assessment, design, approvals, scheduling, installation, commissioning, compliance and customer handover.
Ensure jobs are properly planned, scheduled and allocated to electricians and contractors.
Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve delays, issues and bottlenecks.
Ensure customer commitments and agreed installation timeframes are achieved.
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, electricians, designers and other external stakeholders.
Ensure completed jobs are properly closed out, including documentation, compliance requirements, warranties and customer handover.
Sales & KPI Management
Work closely with the sales team to ensure sold projects are accurately and efficiently handed over to operations.
Establish and monitor sales and operational KPIs.
Track lead-to-sale, sale-to-installation and installation-to-completion performance.
Monitor installation capacity, backlog, cancellations, delays and customer issues.
Hold team members accountable for agreed targets, deadlines and responsibilities.
Provide regular operational performance reports to management.
Systems & Process Improvement
Develop and implement effective business processes, systems and workflows to support the company's growth.
Establish clear responsibilities and accountability across sales, operations, electricians and contractors.
Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists and workflow processes.
Improve communication between sales, operations and installation teams.
Implement systems for job tracking, scheduling, customer communication and project completion.
Ensure the business can scale without compromising service quality or delivery timeframes.
Team & Contractor Management
Coordinate and manage the operational workload of electricians, installers and contractors.
Ensure sufficient installation capacity is available to meet sales demand.
Allocate jobs based on skills, availability, location and project requirements.
Monitor contractor and electrician performance, quality and reliability.
Address operational issues and performance concerns promptly.
Build a culture of accountability, ownership and customer focus.
Customer Experience
Ensure customers receive clear and timely communication throughout their project.
Monitor customer issues, complaints, delays and escalations.
Ensure issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
Maintain high standards of customer service from initial sale through to installation and final handover.

Proven experience in operations management, project coordination or business operations.
Experience managing teams, contractors and multiple stakeholders.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong understanding of KPIs, performance management and process improvement.
Experience developing and implementing business systems and processes.
A practical, hands-on approach to getting things done.
Strong attention to detail and accountability.
The ability to work in a fast-paced and growing business environment.
Experience in the solar, battery, electrical, construction, energy or renewable energy industry will be highly regarded.What Success Looks Like
