Role Description The Merchandiser role at Naukripay group is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The Merchandiser will be responsible for planning and presenting product assortments, ensuring proper stock levels, and maintaining visually appealing displays in line with brand and promotional guidelines. Daily tasks include coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, monitoring product performance, and implementing pricing and promotional strategies to drive sales. The role also involves tracking inventory, analyzing sales data, and providing feedback to improve product mix and customer experience. The Merchandiser will collaborate closely with sales and store staff to ensure that merchandising standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and store staff, and to convey merchandising plans clearly.
Customer Service skills to understand shopper behavior, respond to inquiries on the shop floor, and support a positive buying experience.
Sales and Retail skills to plan assortments, optimize product placement, and contribute to achieving store revenue and performance targets.
Marketing awareness to support promotional campaigns, in-store branding, and visual merchandising aligned with market trends.
Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing inventory levels, tracking stock movement, and maintaining accurate records.
Ability to analyze basic sales and inventory data to inform merchandising decisions and improve product performance.
Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced retail environment and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in merchandising, retail operations, or a related field is preferred; a relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
