As we expand our product and portfolio research capabilities, we are looking for an experienced investment-product professional with strong analytical skills and practical exposure to investment products and portfolios.
About the Role
The Product & Portfolio Research Manager will be responsible for portfolio analysis, investment-product research, due diligence, product comparison and research support for internal investment discussions.
The role will cover:
Mutual Funds | PMS | SIF | AIF | GIFT City / IFSC | Equity | Fixed Income | Alternative Investments
Key Responsibilities
Analyse investor portfolios across mutual funds, equity, debt, PMS, AIF, SIF and other relevant financial assets.
Identify concentration, duplication, asset-allocation gaps, liquidity considerations and portfolio risks.
Evaluate returns, volatility, drawdowns, diversification and benchmark/category performance.
Conduct mutual fund research using rolling returns, CAGR/XIRR, Sharpe, Sortino, alpha, beta, standard deviation, capture ratios and maximum drawdown.
Research and evaluate PMS, SIF and AIF strategies, managers, portfolio construction, fees, liquidity, risk and performance.
Develop working knowledge of GIFT City / IFSC products, global investment opportunities and emerging investment structures.
Research alternative investments including private equity, private credit and structured strategies.
Conduct structured product and fund-manager due diligence and support product empanelment and periodic reviews.
Prepare product comparison sheets, risk matrices, research notes and investment committee material.
Support Relationship Managers with product knowledge and portfolio insights.
Translate complex investment research into clear and practical communication.
Maintain awareness of applicable SEBI, AMFI, NISM and IFSCA requirements.

Preferred qualifications include MBA/PGDM Finance, CFA, CFP, CA/CA Inter, FRM or relevant NISM certifications.
Preferred Experience
4–8 years of relevant experience in:
Wealth Management | Private Banking | Family Office | AMC / Product Team | PMS / AIF | Investment Research | Wealth-Tech | Broking / Investment Houses
Exposure to HNI/UHNI portfolios and sophisticated investment products will be an advantage.
Ideal Candidate

Curious about investment products, markets, fund managers and portfolio construction.
Able to objectively evaluate and document product suitability and risks.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
