Role Description This remote internship role as an SEO Intern at Laneway involves supporting the digital marketing and growth initiatives across client projects. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, assisting with on-page optimization of websites and content, and contributing to SEO audits to identify technical and content-related improvements. The SEO Intern will help with link building outreach, monitor basic web analytics, and prepare performance reports under the guidance of senior team members. The role also includes collaborating with consultants, technologists, and media specialists to apply SEO best practices to content, product pages, and campaigns. This is an internship role designed to provide hands-on experience in SEO within a fast-paced consulting and technology environment.
Qualifications
Ability to perform keyword research and apply findings to content and page optimization (Keyword Research, On-Page SEO).
Capability to assist with technical and content evaluations of websites (SEO Audits).
Basic understanding of link building strategies and ethical outreach practices (Link Building).
Familiarity with web analytics tools and metrics to track traffic and engagement (Web Analytics).
Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Interest in digital marketing, growth strategy, and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks.
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
