The Business Growth Consultant opens strategic conversations with owners and executives who are evaluating how to grow, finance, acquire, recapitalize, or eventually exit a business. Your job is to understand the inflection point and connect it to the right advisory path.
What you will do
Explore growth constraints, ownership objectives, financing needs, and transaction readiness
Help prospects distinguish between immediate needs and longer-term strategic preparation
Build targeted relationships within chosen sectors and business communities
Develop opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, events, and centers of influence
Prepare concise opportunity briefs for senior advisory colleagues
Follow engagements from introduction through close and support future expansion opportunities
What you bring
You are commercially curious and comfortable discussing how companies make money, where growth gets stuck, and what owners want next. You may come from consulting, banking, entrepreneurship, enterprise sales, or professional services.
A record of creating or converting revenue in a consultative B2B environment
Executive-level communication, sound judgment, and respect for confidentiality
Comfort with self-generated activity, variable income, and measurable accountability
Reliable technology, a professional remote workspace, and eligibility to provide services in the United States
Compensation and working model
This is a 100% commission-based independent contractor opportunity with no base salary, draw, or guaranteed earnings. Successful producers may earn approximately $100,000 to $250,000+ annually, with uncapped upside; actual earnings depend on individual results, deal timing, commission terms, and collected revenue. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, benefits, expenses, and compliance obligations. Full commission details are provided in the written contractor agreement.
