North American Finance Vice President

Role Description The North American Finance Vice President is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading financial strategy, planning, and oversight across PyMio’s North American operations. This role manages the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to executive leadership. The Finance Vice President oversees budgeting and forecasting processes, partners with business leaders on performance management, and provides data-driven recommendations to support growth and operational efficiency. Daily responsibilities include monitoring key financial metrics, guiding the month-end and quarter-end close, improving financial processes and controls, and mentoring a high-performing finance team. The role also collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate investments, manage risk, and support strategic decision-making in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Finance and Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
Strong experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with a track record of ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, develop insights, and present clear recommendations to senior leadership.
Proven leadership experience managing finance teams, fostering collaboration, and developing talent in a remote or distributed environment.
Extensive knowledge of North American financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices in corporate finance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build trust across functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly beneficial.
Experience in high-growth or technology-driven organizations is a plus, along with comfort working with modern financial systems and analytics tools.
