Vice President Information Technology

Role Description
The Vice President Information Technology at PyMio is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization’s overall technology vision, strategy, and operations. This role leads the IT function, including infrastructure, applications, security, data, and support services, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure technology environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing IT roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, managing budgets, and coordinating cross-functional projects with business stakeholders. The VP collaborates with executive leadership to align technology investments with organizational goals, establish governance standards, and drive continuous improvement across systems and processes. This position also mentors IT managers and teams, builds vendor relationships, monitors key performance indicators, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology, including enterprise systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
Proven experience in IT Management, leading diverse technical teams, overseeing vendors, and managing IT operations and support.
Demonstrated ability in IT Strategy and Strategic Planning, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and long-term growth.
Advanced Project Management skills, with experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology projects on time and within budget.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions at the executive level.
Experience implementing IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
Background in data and analytics initiatives, digital transformation, or modernization of legacy systems is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP, TOGAF) are a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage distributed teams, and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
