Chief Financial Officer

Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at PyMio is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial strategy, operations, and reporting. The CFO will lead financial planning and budgeting processes, manage cash flow, and ensure accurate, timely preparation of financial statements and reports. This role collaborates with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making, evaluates investment opportunities, and assesses financial risks and opportunities. The CFO will establish and maintain internal controls, oversee compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and key financial partners. The role also includes building and mentoring a high-performing finance team, implementing financial systems and tools, and providing clear, data-driven insights to support sustainable growth.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Finance and Financial Planning, with experience developing budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparing, reviewing, and interpreting balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Excellent Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably as a CFO or equivalent in a growth-oriented organization.
Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in corporate governance.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams.
Experience with financial systems, ERPs, and business intelligence tools, and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are beneficial.
