Role Description
The Entertainment Banker role is a remote, contract position focused on sourcing, structuring, and facilitating financing for entertainment projects championed by Your Script Produced!. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating project proposals and budgets, conducting financial due diligence, and advising on investment and funding strategies for film, television, and digital media. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with investors, financial institutions, and production partners, as well as preparing financial models, term sheets, and presentations for potential backers. The Entertainment Banker will collaborate closely with creative teams to align financial structures with artistic and production needs, and monitor project performance to help manage risk and returns.
Qualifications
Strong skills in entertainment finance, project evaluation, and financial modeling for film, TV, and media projects.
Experience in investment banking, private equity, or project finance, ideally within the entertainment or media sector.
Ability to negotiate and structure deals, including co-productions, equity investments, debt financing, and distribution agreements.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools, budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting complex contracts and legal documentation.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with investors, creatives, and production partners in diverse, global contexts.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of entertainment industry economics, production workflows, and market trends across film, television, and streaming.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
