Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Private Equity Specialist. The specialist will evaluate private equity opportunities that align with the company’s mission of supporting underrepresented creative talent, including funds, partnerships, and project-based investments. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial modeling and due diligence on prospective investments, analyzing risk and return profiles, and preparing clear, data-driven recommendations for leadership. The role involves monitoring portfolio performance, preparing periodic reports and presentations, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to structure deals that advance both financial and impact objectives. The specialist will also track market trends in entertainment, media, and impact investing to inform the company’s capital allocation strategy.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and assess investment risks and opportunities.
Experience in Investments and Private Equity, including evaluating deals, structuring transactions, and managing or monitoring portfolios.
Solid foundation in Finance, including financial modeling, valuation techniques, and understanding of capital markets.
Proven Due Diligence capabilities, including qualitative and quantitative assessment of companies, funds, and projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (CFA, CAIA, or similar) is an advantage.
Familiarity with entertainment, media, or impact investing sectors is highly beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Capacity to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
