Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for a Private Equity Specialist. The specialist will assess investment opportunities related to the company’s initiatives, including funding creative projects, content ventures, and strategic partnerships. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing financial analysis, building investment models, conducting due diligence on potential deals, and evaluating risk and return profiles. The role involves collaborating with leadership to develop investment strategies, prepare investment memos and presentations, and support negotiations with investors and partners. The specialist will also monitor portfolio performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reporting to inform decision-making and long-term growth.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, data interpretation, and quantitative analysis.
Experience in investments and private equity, with the ability to evaluate deal structures and capital deployment.
Knowledge of finance principles, corporate valuation, and portfolio management.
Proficiency in due diligence, including market, financial, legal, and operational assessments.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are an asset.
Comfort working in a remote, contract capacity with strong self-management and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
