Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Intern role at SkillOrbit is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The intern will work closely with the AI and data teams to support the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning models and AI-driven solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include data collection and preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, model training and evaluation, and assisting with the integration of AI components into existing platforms and services. The intern will also contribute to documentation, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical tasks. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world AI projects, mentoring from experienced professionals, and opportunities to learn best practices in AI, data science, and software development.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software development concepts.
Solid Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights.
Knowledge of Data Science concepts such as data preprocessing, feature engineering, and statistical analysis.
Hands-on understanding of Machine Learning techniques, model evaluation, and common frameworks or libraries.
Programming skills in languages commonly used for AI and data science (e.g., Python, R, or similar).
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with tools such as Jupyter Notebooks, version control systems (e.g., Git), and basic SQL is beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Bengaluru, communicate clearly, and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Curiosity about AI applications in education, HR, and IT services, with a willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
