Role Description The Research Assistant role at ssgreentex is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Research Assistant will support research projects by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, as well as assisting with the preparation of reports and documentation. Daily tasks include conducting literature reviews, performing basic laboratory or field procedures as required, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring data integrity. The role involves close collaboration with senior researchers and other team members, clear communication of findings, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The Research Assistant is expected to contribute to improving processes and methodologies through careful observation and analytical thinking.
Qualifications
Strong Research and Analytical Skills to support data collection, experimental design, and problem-solving.
Proficiency in Data Analysis, including basic statistical methods and the ability to interpret and summarize results.
Effective Communication skills for presenting findings, preparing reports, and collaborating with team members.
Foundational Laboratory Skills or relevant technical skills, with attention to safety, accuracy, and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical, or related discipline (such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar).
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) and willingness to learn new research tools and methods.
Previous internship or academic project experience in research or data-driven roles is an advantage.
