Role Description The Chief Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Jalgaon, responsible for overseeing overall branch operations and performance. The role includes managing sales targets, driving insurance product penetration across customer segments, and ensuring consistent achievement of revenue and growth objectives. The Chief Branch Manager will lead and develop branch teams and insurance consultants, including coaching, performance reviews, and talent development. Daily responsibilities involve monitoring key metrics, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company guidelines, managing customer service standards, and resolving escalated issues. The role also requires close collaboration with regional and corporate stakeholders, implementing strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, and maintaining strong relationships with partners and local customers.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in coaching, performance management, and staff development.
Proven branch operations and sales management experience, preferably in life insurance, banking, or financial services.
Competence in customer relationship management, service quality, and handling escalations with professionalism and integrity.
Ability to analyze financial and operational data, manage targets, and execute branch-level business strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
Knowledge of life insurance products, regulatory requirements, and compliance best practices in the Indian market.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Prior experience managing a high-performing branch or large team in Jalgaon or similar markets will be considered beneficial.
