About the Role
Brigadier Defence Academy, Dehradun is looking for a dedicated and conceptually strong Chemistry Faculty who can teach CBSE Class XI & XII Chemistry and also handle General Science for NDA and CDS aspirants.
We are looking for a teacher who can combine strong academic teaching with competitive-exam orientation and mentor students preparing for both Board Examinations and Defence Entrance Examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Chemistry to Class XI and XII students as per the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations with emphasis on NCERT, conceptual clarity, numericals, reactions and answer-writing.
Conduct regular tests, assignments, revision sessions and doubt-clearing classes.
Teach General Science for NDA and CDS examinations.
Cover Chemistry and relevant basic Science topics from a competitive-exam perspective.
Use PYQs, objective questions, worksheets and practice material for exam preparation.
Prepare lesson plans, notes, worksheets and assessments.
Track student performance and provide academic feedback.
Mentor students and help improve their confidence, discipline and exam readiness.
Coordinate with the academic team for syllabus planning, tests and student progress.
Candidate Profile
Strong command over Chemistry fundamentals.
Good understanding of CBSE Class XI & XII Chemistry.
Comfortable teaching General Science for NDA/CDS.
Ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Student-centric and mentoring-oriented approach.
Familiarity with Defence competitive examinations will be preferred.
Qualification
M.Sc. Chemistry preferred.
B.Ed. will be an added advantage.
Candidates with strong subject knowledge and excellent teaching ability may also be considered.
Experience
Prior experience teaching Class XI & XII Chemistry is preferred.
Experience preparing students for NDA/CDS or other competitive examinations will be an added advantage.
Strong freshers with excellent conceptual clarity and teaching skills may also apply.

We are looking for someone who is more than a syllabus-completion teacher — a faculty member who can build concepts, strengthen Board preparation and develop the scientific aptitude required for Defence examinations.
