Role Description The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and platforms that support PPStack’s EdTech and digital services. This role includes implementing responsive user interfaces, building and integrating back-end services and APIs, optimizing site performance, and ensuring security and scalability across web solutions. The Web Developer will collaborate with product, design, content, and engineering teams to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code and intuitive user experiences. Daily activities involve troubleshooting issues, improving existing features, participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and standards. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Front-End Development and Web Design, including experience with modern frameworks, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming, with the ability to build APIs, manage databases, and implement secure, scalable server-side logic.
Candidates should possess comprehensive Web Development skills, covering the full stack from planning and architecture to deployment, testing, and maintenance.
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) is highly beneficial.
Experience with one or more back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, or PHP) and relational/non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) is preferred.
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms or hosting environments is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment are required.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
