About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Company Description:
Sneakare is a New Delhi-based, fastest-growing sneaker care brand, built for people who genuinely love what they are wearing on their feet. We market premium, no-nonsense products — cleaning kits, insoles, suede care, and storage solutions — designed to help sneaker fans protect what they paid for and wear what they love, longer. We started small, made it to Shark Tank India, and haven't slowed down since. Our team is young, fast-moving, and obsessed with getting things right — whether that's a product formula, a listing copy, or a customer interaction. We care about quality over shortcuts, ownership over excuses, and learning over ego.
Job Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on D2C Lead to fully own our website — sales, updates, maintenance, analysis, retention, and performance. This is a single-owner role: there is no separate website/tech/CRM team behind you today, so you'll both set the strategy and execute the day-to-day. You're accountable for revenue coming through the site, how it looks and runs, and how well we keep bringing customers back. You'll work closely with the Founder, marketing, and external dev/tech vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Website Sales & Revenue
• Own the website's revenue number end-to-end — set monthly/quarterly targets with the Founder and be accountable for hitting them
• Plan and execute on-site promotions, discounting, and bundling strategy to hit revenue targets without eroding margin
• Work with marketing to align website offers/landing pages with paid and organic campaigns
2. Website Updates & Content
• Manage all product listings — new launches, pricing changes, descriptions, images, and stock status
• Update homepage, banners, collections, and campaign pages in line with the marketing/promo calendar
• Keep site content (policies, FAQs, size/fit guides) accurate and current
3. Maintenance & Technical Health
• Monitor site uptime, page speed, and mobile experience; flag and triage issues before they hit customers
• Coordinate bug fixes and feature builds with the developer/agency, writing clear requirements and testing before go-live
• Own the Shopify (or equivalent) app/plugin stack — evaluate new tools, manage renewals, and remove what isn't earning its keep
4. Analysis & Reporting
• Track the full funnel — traffic, conversion rate, AOV, cart/checkout drop-off — and know where the leaks are
• Build and maintain a recurring performance dashboard (GA4/Shopify analytics) for leadership review
• Run structured A/B tests on landing pages, PDPs, and checkout flow to improve conversion
5. Retention
• Own retention channels — email, SMS, WhatsApp — from flow design (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback) to performance tracking
• Design and iterate on loyalty/subscription mechanics to increase repeat purchase rate
• Segment the customer base and personalize campaigns/offers by behaviour (first-time vs. repeat, high-AOV, etc.)
What Success Looks Like (First 6-12 Months):
• Website revenue is tracked weekly and hitting agreed targets, with clear visibility into what's driving or dragging performance
• Conversion rate and AOV show a measurable, explainable improvement over the baseline
• A live retention program (email/SMS/WhatsApp flows) is running and contributing a growing share of repeat revenue
• Site uptime/speed issues are caught and resolved before they meaningfully impact sales
• Leadership has a reliable, self-serve dashboard instead of needing to ask for numbers
Requirements:
• 4-6 years of experience in D2C e-commerce, website management, or growth roles (D2C/e-commerce brand background preferred)
• Hands-on experience managing a Shopify (or similar) storefront, including working directly with developers/agencies
• Strong grasp of web analytics (GA4, Shopify analytics) and CRO fundamentals
• Experience running retention/CRM programs (e.g. Klaviyo, WebEngage, or similar)
• Comfortable working with data — strong Excel skills; ability to turn numbers into a decision, not just a report
• Ability to own a function solo — this role has no team under it today
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
Experience: 4-6 years
Location: Kirti Nagar, Delhi (Onsite)
Department: D2C / E-commerce
Employment Type: Full-time
CTC: Upto 12 LPA
