Role Description The DevOps role at PPStack is a full-time remote position responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support PPStack’s digital learning and career platforms. Day-to-day tasks include designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability of services. The role involves working closely with software development teams to streamline integration and delivery processes, managing Kubernetes-based container orchestration, and overseeing Linux-based server environments. The DevOps professional will implement infrastructure-as-code practices, enhance system observability, and contribute to security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies. Collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement are central aspects of this position.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Software Development and Integration to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and support end-to-end delivery workflows.
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration practices and tools to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment automation, and scalable microservices management.
Advanced knowledge of Linux for system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and secure server operations.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks) to ensure system reliability and visibility.
Understanding of DevSecOps practices, networking fundamentals, and security best practices in distributed systems.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
