Role Description This is a full-time remote role focused on Docker-based containerization within PPStack’s technology and learning platforms. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining Docker images and containers for development, testing, and production environments. Responsibilities include optimizing container performance, managing container orchestration workflows, and ensuring secure, reliable deployments for AI-powered and EdTech solutions. The role also includes collaborating with engineering, product, and training teams to support scalable infrastructure, troubleshooting container-related issues, and contributing to automation and CI/CD pipelines. The Docker specialist will document processes, follow best practices for container security and resource management, and support continuous improvement of PPStack’s technology ecosystem.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in containerization technologies such as Docker, including image creation, container lifecycle management, and environment configuration.
Candidates should possess skills in related DevOps practices, such as CI/CD pipelines, automation scripting, and integration with orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes or similar).
Candidates should possess skills in system administration and infrastructure, including Linux fundamentals, networking basics, and monitoring tools.
Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Relevant experience in EdTech, SaaS, or cloud-based platforms is beneficial, along with familiarity with AI/ML workloads and scalable microservices architectures.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
