Security Operations Analyst

We're looking for a detail-oriented, flexible, and proactive Security Operations Analyst (Entry-Level) to join our IT/security operations team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to launch their career in IT or cybersecurity. You'll be responsible for monitoring and responding to system and security alerts generated from a range of tools, including vulnerability scanners, antivirus/antimalware platforms, server health monitors, and network monitoring systems.
Responsibilities:
Monitor incoming alerts and logs from vulnerability management tools, endpoint security systems (AV/AM), server performance tools, and network monitoring platforms.
Investigate and triage alerts to determine severity, validity, and next steps.
Follow predefined standard operating procedures (SOPs) to address or escalate alerts.
Log, document, and track issues and resolutions in ticketing or reporting systems.
Collaborate with other IT and security staff to support remediation efforts.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of internal documentation and knowledge base articles.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or in progress / recently graduated).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures with precision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.
